How Long Will It Take To Reface My Kitchen Cabinets?

Just a few days, even for substantially sized kitchens. This makes cabinet refacing much more convenient than cabinet replacement and full kitchen remodeling, which can take weeks to months.

Even with large kitchens, cabinet refacing can be done in just a few days. Compare that to the MONTHS it can take kitchen remodeling, and you’ll appreciate how convenient refacing is.

Do You Offer Other Kitchen Upgrades In Addition To Cabinet Refacing?

Yes, we do! While we’re restyling your cabinets, we can perform any of the following to your kitchen…

  • Handle minor reconfigurations
    • Sliding drawers

    • Lazy Susans
    • And more!

Is Cabinet Refacing The Right Kitchen Renovation For Me?

In many instances, a home’s current kitchen cabinets are structurally sound. The actual issue is that they look outdated or worn on the surface. It’s the PRESENTATION that needs an upgrade—not the underlying framework.

If that’s the case with your kitchen cabinets, cabinet refacing is a fantastic option. It requires substantially less time and cost than full-scale kitchen remodeling. It’s also much more cost-effective and quicker than actually replacing your cabinets.

History Of Franklin Park

The story of Franklin Park goes all the back to pre-colonial America. The area was nearby the Des Plaines River and was used by many Native American tribes of the Northwest as a meeting place.  However, this would stop after the Treaty of St. Louis. Soon, European and American settlers would find the area. Many were enthralled by the beauty and bounty of the land and would stay to create families and farms. Like many areas near Chicago, in the 1840s and 1850s, there was a large increase of German immigrants. They were fleeing military conscription and found themselves in the gorgeous area that would become Franklin Park.

It would stay as a primarily agricultural area until around 1880, as that was when the railroad was built. The railroad allowed many people to travel at a speed nearly unheard of before. It let the residents get to Chicago and the world beyond much quicker. In addition, it let the world beyond more easily get to Franklin Park. That led to the population of the village slowly raising. However, Franklin Park wouldn’t get a major population increase until years later. The period of prosperity that followed the conclusion of WWII would exponentially increase the population of the area. It’s only continued to grow and turn into the gorgeous village that it is today.
