Is Cabinet Refacing The Right Kitchen Renovation For Me?
In many instances, a home’s current kitchen cabinets are structurally sound. The actual issue is that they look outdated or worn on the surface. It’s the PRESENTATION that needs an upgrade—not the underlying framework.

History Of Melrose Park
The village of Melrose Park wasn’t always known as that. When townships were first being established in Illinois the area that would one day become Melrose Park began as a township named Proviso. However, the lots of land that would become Melrose Park were bought and traded by many people throughout the years. This was until the Melrose Company bought the lots that would become Melrose Park.
The Melrose Company split up the lots they bought into subdivisions. They made a simple offer, a pair of 26-foot lots to anyone who would build a home worth $500 or more. It took less than a year to get 5o people to take up the offer. Since there were no services provided to these settlers the growth of the area was slow. In 1880, only seven years after the Melrose Company started advertising, the population was only 200 individuals. The village of Melrose was incorporated in 1882, but only by 38 votes. The village then began to grow more steadily and added “Park” to the village’s name in 1894.
After WWI and WWII, industry and population grew exponentially in Melrose Park and the village has only grown since then. It’s now a gorgeous village, much greater than its humble origins.
